| 简介说明 | Welcome to all of our new parents and students and welcome ba-ck to our returning group! I hope that you have all had a wonderful summer break, and are ready for the new year ahead. As the new deputy principal, I am thrilled and feel honored to be a part of the Victoria family once again. My goal is to work with the Victoria Community in providing quality education, providing and educating the whole-child,and helping every child to reach his or her full potential. My background includes several years of teaching experience in the field of education,working as a teacher in Vancouver, Canada and as an exchange teacher in Sapporo,Japan. I currently hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and Bachelor of Arts from the Uni-versity of British Columbia and a Canadian Teaching Certificate. At Victoria, our doors are always open for parents. Should you request for class observations, volunteer work and parental involvement activities, please speak to our class teachers about your valuable contributions. We are proud of our students and the efforts of our staff and appreciate the opportunity to showcase our work. Parent-teacher interviews are also condu-cted once per term and will be scheduled once in January and July. Please feel free to contact your child's class teachers through email or phone as we value and appreciate two-way communication between parents and teachers. Birthday child's parents are also invited to come join us during birthday parties at the last Friday of every month. We do not encourage parents to bring in birthday cakes due to allergy and preferred dieting reasons but we always welcome birthday treats like stickers and small toys! Thank you for giving us the privilege of working with your children. We look forward to working with you to provide the finest education possible for our children. I wish everyone a prosperous and successful school year - we have many challenges and experiences ahead of us and together, we can truly make a difference in all of our children's' lives!
